A new decade

A new year doesn't feel as special over here. It's probably because the academic calendar starts in September and all. And right now it feels like the middle of school term, which it is.

There is so much to do but I just can't get myself to start doing anything. Streaming movies and going out being the only exceptions.

All I've done so far is.. make a timetable. Yipee!

Family came over for a week. It was real nice actually. Looking at the pictures now, it was fun!

First stop, UCL.

HAHAHA. Mummy dragged all of us to take the pic. Crazy bright sun.

I didn't realise what the movie was about when I saw the poster. I even thought it was animated or something.

It's about a son of a German soldier who makes friends with a Jewish boy in concentration camp.

But daymnnn.. it's wow. Really good acting and directing.

It's depressing. Hatehatehate the stuff about the Holocaust. I wouldn't watch it ever again. But it's good. And it's a British movie which makes it even more wow. Haha.

It's always the movies that I know nothing about that turn out to be friggin awesome.

Winter Wonderland

Oo okay so it DID snow yesterday and pretty heavily!

At first it was "Ooo.. Pretty.." and "Aaaa.. So nice.." then as it started to get heavier and heavier it turned to

"OMG SO COLD MY TOES AND FINGERS ARE FRIGGIN PAINFUL GET ME OUTTA HERE"

Food helped me so much. Hot chocolate(£2) and Bratwurst with bread roll (£4). The others also had all sorts of stuff like huge ass chocolate pretzels(£4) and crepes(£3-£5).

This was the light snow. When everyone still looked happy. After that we were all just super miserable. Didn't take any pics. Hands too cold.

PS. I figured out how to get the £ sign on my keyboard!! Changed it from American to UK English.

Control Panel > Language and Regional Options > Languages tab > Details > Add English(United Kingdom).

Make sure the keyboard says United Kingdom.

£ is Shift + 3 and the @ symbol is Shift + ',' (beside the enter button). Those are the only two differences I think.

And tada!Sooo much easier now. £££££££. Weeeee!

It's half past 10 in the morning here and lecture is in half an hours time.

It's not snowing. But I don't care, you know. Like anything man. Hahah.

More importantly, I'm going to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park for lunch! Weird I know. But there's German food, German hotdogs, German desserts. Lecker lecker!

It's gonna be so good. Compare that to what I had for lunch few weeks ago.

Instant Hor Fun!!! (Abalone flavour xD) All you do is pour boiling water and tada! Okay it was actually pretty good. Aahh all the MSG. Yummers! Haha.

I was screaming like a little fan girl. Hahaha.

It was awesome. I didn't manage to take many pictures but seeing them just there, so near. Holy crap. Hahaha.

I just have to blog about it while the uuummphh is still there.

WeeLim and I left UCL at about half past 3. Arrived outside the cinema at 4. We waited for two whole hours in the freezing until people started arriving. But when they came omg it was so worth it. They were SO near.

What?? You mean you don't know who he is?!?!? Yeah neither do I. Some guy from Lost apparently. Ian something.

He was super nice though. And pretty cute. Haha.

SHE'S SO PRETTY!!! AAAHHH!! RACHELLL!!! I LOVE THE NOTEBOOKKK!!!

First day of orientation today! It was pretty fun. Math people are friendly. Lol.

Soooo many Asian people it's scary. Mostly from China and HongKong which I know is a part of China but they separate themselves. xD

Do I look Hongky btw? Chinese people think I'm from HongKong for some reason..

The head of the Math Dep. was wearing a T shirt which said "Bad Ass Attitude" in caps with a picture of a bulldog. Awesomee. Haha.

And today I met my mentor who's Vietnamese/Chinese but is from Sweden. And also another Chinese girl who's from France. That's so cool. Meeting people from all over the world.

Heyya! It's been reeelly hectic and stuff since I didn't have a permanent place to stay. Was real stressed out and stuff. Really had no mood to blog at all.

And now that my accommodation is all settled.. I'm gonna be living in a University of London hall (Hughes Parry hall). But UOL only gave me the place AFTER i moved into a flat I found. So now the room is available. If anyone knows anybody who needs a place to stay in London let me know!

I'm leaving in 4 days and I still don't have a place to stayyyy. SueWei has gone to Cardiffff..

Anyway I watched the season 8 finale of Scrubs a week back. It was J.D.'s last day at the hospital and the last ten minutes pretty much describes how I feel.

JD: Things rarely go exactly the way you want them to, so sometimes you make due with whatever you can get. Endings are never easy; I always build them up so much in my head they cant possibly live up to my expectations, and I just end up disappointed. I'm not even sure why it matters to me so much how things end here.

I guess its because we all want to believe that what we do is very important, that people hang onto our every word, that they care what we think.

The truth is: you should consider yourself lucky if you even occasionally get to make someone, anyone, feel a little better. After that its all about the people that you let into your life..

And as my mind drifted to faces Ive seen here before, I was taken to memories of family, of coworkers, of lost loves, even of those who've left us. And as I rounded that corner, they all came at me in a wave of shared experience.

And even though it felt warm and safe, I knew it had to end. Its never good to live in the past too long. As for the future, thanks to Dan, it didn't seem so scary anymore. It could be whatever I wanted it to be.

Okay. Maybe just SOME of it describes my feelings. It's a nice ending anyway. Man they have good scriptwriters.

MTV TrueLife is so sad sometimes.. Makes me realise how silly my problems are. If I have any at all.

As you may or may not know, I'm looking for a place to stay in Central London.
Because UCL did not give me a place to stay.
Because I applied after the 31 May deadline (which is wayyyy to early) and it was my insurance choice.

Been looking for flats for the past week with a group of people who didn't get accommodation too. Almost impossible to find one that's within our budget, near to UCL and is still available.

I think I'll just arrive there without a place to stay. It'll be much easier when I'm there. Seriously stressful..

GCE A Levels results.

Hmm.. Okay first, HELP was calling everyone the day before results are officially out to tell them to wear semi-formal clothes and go to college at 10am to receive their results. So obviously that means whoever gets called did well.

I didn't get the call.

The feeling was horrible. When everyone you know gets a call, THE call that would pretty much determine your entire future, and you don't.. Well, it feels worse than getting bad SPM results. I should know. Been there, done that. The entire night all I did was prepare myself for 1 or 2 A's and Australia. It was extremely hard. I couldn't talk about it. I couldn't talk at all. I just sat on the sofa quietly the entire night.

When the next morning came, I actually felt much better. I was prepared for the worse.

And I got

Mathematics - A
Further Mathematics - A
Accounting - A
Economics - B

which is much better than expected.

(I have so much to complain about Economics but nvm. Haha. It was closeee. Sorta.)

But.. I didn't get into Imperial because I didn't get all A's for my Further Math modules. In fact I got two B's for the last two papers. xD (I missed out an entire question in one of the papers) I'm gonna appeal to them though because the B's are 2 and 3 marks away from an A.

I got accepted into UCL. Yay!! Heheh.

The day ended surprisingly very well. And I feel great. =)

Just got back from KL! Exhaustedd.. Went to the KL Bird Park and Tugu Negara. Lol. Woke up insanely early at about 6.40am. And tonight I'll be working at Ikea again for the entire night. Crazy, I know. It's to distract myself so that I son't think about results so much. Two days days!! Garhh. But aanyway, Tokio Hotel's new single "Automatic" will be premiering on MTV.com TODAY. Results are gonna be released on Thursday, 20th Aug 2009 7.00am local time. So frickkin nervous. But I did some research today and even if I don't make it to Imperial I'll probably go to ANU (if I'm accepted). If I study at ANU I'll get a chance to do a student exchange program to Deutschland aka Germany! =)

Just applied to ANU a few days ago at the Australia Education Fair. My 1st choice is Bachelor of Finance and 2nd choice is Bachelor of Commerce. The guy from ANU said that the entry requirement with GCE A Levels for finance is ABB and Commerce is BBB.

I really doubt I can achieve the requirements set by Imperial or UCL. Sigh.

Going for British Council pre-departure briefing today at Renaissance. It's from 2 to 5pm. Thinking of whether to wear that new top. Hmm..

Watching Scrubs to kill time. I stream episode from surfthechannel.com. It has loads of TV shows and movies but it's pretty annoying when it takes so friggin long to stream. Normally it takes only 10minutes to finish loading. It's also sorta blurry. Think Youtube quality but worse.

Really tempted to buy the box set. Scrubs would be the only show that's worth buying. Oh and maybe Simpsons too. Those that you can watch over and over again and still lmao. Shows which have scenes that get stuck in your head and when you think about them you start laughing and people think you're crazy.

Weelim told me that the original cast of Scrubs won't be back for the next season. =( And its gonna be about the new interns now. It might not even be called Scrubs anymore. That really sucks. Without J.D. life would just be pointless. Hahah.

Has anyone lost mailed items before? A shirt was mailed to me from Singapore a month ago and it's not here yet. It's so frustrating, depressing, just.. uggh. Worst thing is that it wasn't registered. Probably means it's gone forever.

I googled lost mail and apparently people steal them. o.o If it's cash then I understand. But a Tokio Hotel T-shirt? Seriously? Are the postmen secretly huge Tokio Hotel fans? Well if they are they should be ashamed. No Tokio Hotel fan would do that to another.

Contacting SingPost and Pos Malaysia. I pray that they'll find it hidden under piles of envelopes or stuck in between cabinets or something. Though I really doubt so. =(

Went shopping with Nat and Sue Wei today. We spent 7 hours in One Utama. Parking was more than one ringgit! Amazing how much we walked. But I'd rather walk 10 hours in a shopping mall than go paintballing with 17 guys any day! Initial plan was to go paintballing with WeeLim's class. The injuries they came back withh.. DAYMN.

Got this top from Topshop for only RM29 after 50% discount. Lol. It's pretty basic but I like the low round back! =)

HELP Prom 09

Back from Sunway Resort and Spa Hotel where prom was held. Soo exhausted.. Feel burning sensations. Trying hard keep eyes open.

Yeah prom was fun! I realised I don't know half the people in college. As in I haven't even seem them in my life. Maybe different intake? Yeah so it felt just like a normal formal dinner. Not a super emotional it's the last time we're gonna see each other type.

Lucky that we won the lucky draw!(duh.) Won beverage vouchers to uhh.. some place. They only had two slow dance songs. TWO. And that was when they were serving dessert! Ugghh.. That. i'm not hapy about. Pfft.

Then.. was nominated for Best Dressed which was so terrifying. God. Had to do the shower dance. And I was worried my boobs might show or something. The dress was not designed to dance in definitely.

Oh and as for the food I liked the appetiser. Shrimp with beans and rocket leaves. I thought the combination was really good though it was a lil salty. Dessert was pretty nice too though a lil too sweet. Haha.

I think that covers the entire night. Good night!

So three months free!! Crazy schedule these few days though. Prom's tomorrow, then birthday, marathon, Genting trip, all in less than a week. Plus I'm signing up for Mandarin classes. A banana I shall no longer be!
And then I need to plan what I want to do for the rest of my life. Or which country to study in. No biggie.

So two or three Fridays ago I went to Bukit Tinggi with my family. It's the sorta little stop near Genting Highlands. Haven't been there in yearssss.

All I could remember was the rabbit farm. This time we didn't even go there. I looked in and saw like.. 10 rabbits? hiding at a corner. In my mind it was countless rabbit running around me begging me to feed them. Hahah.

Oh and before that we had lunch at one of the restaurants. Food there is really good.

I didn't know people eat turtles.. Apparently the orang asli people catch them and sell them to restaurants. So they rarely have them. Yahh anyway i did have a bite. Tastes like a mix of pork and chicken? Weird. Lol.

Then there were the black ones. They weren't in the water.

Then after walking around.. There was nothing to do! So had coffee and a sandwich.

My car's rear window shattered yesterday evening. For no reason whatsoever.

I got in my car, shut the door and crash. The whole thing shattered into a million little pieces most of which was outside. So I doubt someone did it intentionally if not the glass would be inside? It was parked the entire day outside WeeLim's house. My guess is that it was the heat and manufacturing default of the glass or someone in Tmn. Tun hates me real bad. Someone scratched it intentionally few weeks back. -.-

Sighh.. The bad luck I have seriously. With cars. I have horrible luck with cars. It's a sign. that I should have a driver to chauffeur me around all the time.

Mannn.. I have to stop eating so much after dinner. I just go on and on. And on. Then I end up waking up bloated in the morning. Garrhh.. So frustrating. I lack will power! Lol.

Watching tv right now. Show called Stacked is on? And the main character is played by Carmen Electra. As usual she plays the ditsy blonde. Trying to turn her life around so now she works at a bookshop. Lol. Why am I even watching this? I have no idea.

Signed up for Orange Run few days ago. And I just have to be 18 this year. Competing against the adults in the 18 above category..=/ I was hoping I could get into 13-18. Hehe. It's practice for the 21km anyways.

Just got home from Bentong, Pahang! Tiny little town. They don't even have McDs okay. No McValue lunchhh! *sniff* Only famous thing/place they have is the ice-cream/cendol shop! It's gooooddd. They have amazing durian ice-cream.

The amount of stuff we burned today.. all the smoke. o.o Oh well.. can't mess with tradition. We got my grandfather a new motorbike, tv with astro(including the Astro satelline), and a shopping mall. Lol! Oh plus a whole lotta cash as usual. Like, billions.

Getting a shower feels so good after today. Hate it when my hair smells of smoke, whether from cigarettes or fire.

So boyfriend and I went to a free dinner from Nuffnang at Friendster Cafe, Damansara Perdana.

Going to events by bloggers for bloggers is.. weird-ish. Lol. Don't get me wrong, other bloggers are nice they're just so.. blogger-ish? Hahah.

Aanyways, free food and goodies. Yay! hahaha.

We had no idea what it was about until we reached. Got a Digi T-shirt(which I wear to go jog now!), lucky draw number thingy and the Digi Windows Live Messenger broucher.

Before going to the main area, there was this board that they made into the Windows Live Messenger contact page.

It starts out blank and as we walk in, we had to write down our nicknames and status.

It was too dark in there so all we could take were the candles.

We had buffet style dinner. Which was not bad. Then the event started. The emcee introduced the new Digi service. RM3 a month for unlimited messages. But now they have a free trial month or something like that. Lol.

They passed around several phones and let us try it out. It's pretty fun. Really fast as well I must say. Faster than SMS-ing. Plus, you can nudge and send emoticons too.

Then they had lucky draw! Coca-cola caps, a pair of Oakleys and a pair of Raybans. Everyone was praying not to get chosen when it came to the caps. Hahah. Now I regret to be one of them that prayed. It's better than nothing!

After that they held a few games. One of which was the emoticon game.

I just watched I believe the first episode? So Chu Kang and Rosie are now in Malaysia and they're setting up a new company! PCK Sdn. Bhd. and have a partner called Izzy(i think) played by Harith Iskandar.

It's alrightt.. Not as funny somehow. Harith Iskandar was really funny though. Good actor. Rosie is now much slimmer! Hahah. And it's just not the same without Ah Ma, his brother and skinny sister-in-law. xD

Sorry for the lack of updates. Time passes by so fast.. By the time I know it, it's been a week.

Was supposed to blog about the Digi thing a week ago and deadline was today, 12pm. Actually it's yesterday, since it's 1am now. And I would stand a chance to win a PSP!! Garrhh.. But nooo, I just had to procrastinate and now it's too late. The deadline made it worse. With a deadline, I'll delay until the last minute. Just like scholarship applications.

My parents have actually started discussing about my going to the UK to study. They planned about what to do with my car, and that they would go over earlier to London(and ~~hopefully~~ maybe drop by Paris?) with me to check it out. Suddenly going to London seems like a possibility, and everything became so real. I never really told myself that I'd be going. Since I was still open to Aussieland or just doing twinning locally. I guess I didn't want to expect it.

But now it's scary. There's only a few more months left. I'll be gone by September(if I go). To somewhere I've never been to and have only imagined in my head. Of course it's also exciting at the same time. Going to a whole new country and living there independantly! (yay?) The thing I'm concerned about is actually the toilets. I can't stand sharing toilets, even with my own family in hotels. Especially when it's wet. yuck.

That's a lot of kilometers. My parents called me crazy. They know I can't do 21km! So I got to trainn.. I don't know why I'm joining. Haha. For the fun of it. And to give myself a reason to exercise. It's soo hard to start again once I've stopped jogging.

ya, i know i should have just walked that 100 meters to make it 5km.

I'll be keeping track of my time and distance. Hopefully I'll improve!

I just came back from my first ever facial.

At Skin Basic, Dataran Sunway. 50% on weekdays, 12-4pm. Yay.

Definitely an interesting experience. When I first arrived, they gave me fuzzy slippers to put on. Though it was a few sizes too small (height and big feet go hand in hand) it was comfyyyy. Then the therapist led me into one of the rooms available and she told me to change into this robe. I had NO clue how to put it on. It turned out to be sorta like how you wrap a towel around your body. Yeah.. I needed some help. Hahah.

Then I went to lie down on the massage bed. And with a blanket. o.o

Started off with a scalp massage. The oil smelled so goodd. After that she did lotsa stuff to my face, I think clease, tone, scrub and finally masking. In between was what she called 'extraction'. The painnn. Lol. She used a needle and extracted out white and black heads. I think I teared a lil. Hahaha.

All the pain women go through just to please their men. sigh. xD

Finally, more massaging and after she applied moisturiser I was done! Now my face is a lil swollen from the 'extraction'. Lol.

The two hours passed by like that. *snaps finger* Was it worth RM84? Ehhh.. When I start earning money then probably.

Just got back from Jason Mraz.

So niceeeeeee.

I always get all fan-girly after a concert. But he was SO good live. Turn out was good too. Crowd was loud and fun. I think Jason and his band had a good time as well. We showed him that Malaysia recognises great music. Oh, and also that we don't live on top of trees in jungles.

I have to be awake in 6 hours time. And then go for 7 hours of classes.

It's the time of the week again.

Where my class starts at 12 and I go to college at 8 in the morning. Yippee.

It ain't that bad. Without the four extra hours I would never update the blog.

Uploaded some pictures few days back. And since Ameer wants to see more pictures or Italy I'll give him Italy! Hahah.

Btw, I didn't know you, Chrystal, etc actually know I have a blog. And talking about it feels strangee.. Haha. I never imagine people actually reading all this crap.. so yeah..

On the first day, after a six hour flight we arrived at Dubai airport.

When you have to wait 4 hours at the airport, what else is there to do but sleep.

While I slept, my dad walked around (for the third time) and started camwhoring. So cute.

And then we found a more comfortable place. Slept again.

God I look like crap.

Finally arrived in Venice 7 hours later. And we went straight to do some sightseeing.

It had just rained so it was really windy. Freezing colddd.

Winter weather.. Pretty annoying. Every morning we prayed that it wouldn't rain. But I guess the people up there don't like me much.

The first church we visited. So naturally we took a whole lotta pictures of it.

Okay so my internet hasn't been working for days. DAYS. It's pure torture. Stupid Streamyx. Grr.

And I realised how much I depend on my lappie and the internet. Currently at my uncles house.

Shall upload a few Italy photos. Because I feel like it.

I appreciate traveling overseas more the older I get. Plus I remember the experiences better. Or maybe it's because I want to. Since now I realise how much a short week trip overseas costs. o.o

Traveling is really nice. And even though nothing extra funny/weird/interesting happened during the trip, it was perfect. I've never been anywhere west of the planet. My trips have always been either in Asia or Australia. So there wasn't a major culture difference. Or that everyone everywhere I turned looked sorta like me. Asian.

Was really young when I went to Australia so, I only remember fun theme park rides. Oh and kangaroos and koala bears(that sleep 20 hours a day, fyi).

I really do consider myself lucky for being able to travel to so many places around the world.

It's just sad that I only truly realise that now..

Day markets in Italy. They sell all sorts of candy there! I bought this deep fried bread thing which was covered with sugar with Nutella spread in between. Frittelle I think it is called.

Sinful. Dee-lee-she-us. Especially on a freezing winter day.

Nutella is EVERYWHERE in Italy. And somehow it tastes so much better there.

Duomo is beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice.

And although I had so much to eat in Italy, I didn't gain any weight!(i think) Must have been the constant walking.

Also why I now love tours. I used to hate hate hate the walking. Even more so in China. Everywhere we went, all the buildings looked the same. But I'll probably think otherwise now. Now that I'm older and wiser. xD

Vatican City is friggin pretty. I wish I had more time there. It's huge! The church that is.

Surprisingly, the best meal we had was in Switzerland! Seafood risotto, pasta, and pizza for two was overkill. Seriously yummy though.

First day of college today! After a months study break and exams. Then a week of holidays.

The first time I saw my timetable, holymotherwtfbbq*toooot*. But now that I see it again, it's actually pretty nice. Pretty relaxing on most days. Had two classes today (each class is 2 hours) and only one tomorrow!

College from 8am to 10am. Uhmazingggg. One class. In the middle of the week. When I feel all dispirited because there are still three long days before the weekend. Plus on Wednesdays there are usually discounts! Movies, parking.

And it makes such a huge difference when you're taking the subjects that you're interested in. Instead of doing a bunch of crappy subjects that are forced on you. Then you actually look forward to college. So choose what you like to do. And not what your parents think is good for you.

Okay. Off to do math.

Yayy! Mathhh! I like mathhh!! See, it makes a lot of difference. Hahaha.

I just got home. Soo exhausted. And my legs are killing me. Was limping my way to the mamak at Centrepoint and limped back to the car.

I had dinner at Extra Super Tanker Restaurant with my family recently. It's the new branch at Bukit Utama.

Isn't the name cool? Extra Super Tanker. xD
We actually asked one of the staff, why the odd name and apparently it's just a direct translation of the chinese name. I thought it would be a more interesting story. Like the owner was in the Navy, and he was always in a tank? Or something like that.

So anyway, the food's alright. The usual Chinese New Year dishes, can't go wrong with those. Prices are quite reasonable. But service was pretty slow.

Tokio Hotel hit me like a ton of bricks. In my face. Repeatedly.

I first saw them performing live on Jimmy Kimmel and I was hooked bad. Just like how all TH fans started off.

I was never into boybands and I definitely never would have thought I would be such a huge fan of something. So people just don't see why I would like them. There are so many reasons I don't even know where to start.

Mainly, other than their music, I like their attitude. No, not the emo attitude. Once you look past their photoshoots they don't even come close to emo.

They dare to be who they are. Different. The lead singer, Bill and guitar player Tom have had their style at a young age. That's why they were always bullied in school. But they didn't give a crap. Until now people still diss the way they look and the way they dress.

He already had his eyebrow piercing.
His hair is supposed to be dark blonde. Like his twin, Tom.

And that's Tom.

So you can imagine how everyone laughed and teased them in school. But they were and still are non conformists.

I have holidays this entire week. College starts next Tuesday. That's not much time at all.. But I'll take it. Better than no holiday at all.

Plan for today.. shopping with mummy! Haven't gone shopping in a long time. Haven't gone shopping with mummy even longer. (Since her addiction to golf *cough*) It was so much easier when I was younger. Now the both of us have different tastes, and have our own thing we want to look for. So that makes it hard, but pretty fun nonetheless. Besides I'll miss these moments if I go overseas for uni. *sniff*

Wee Lim already blogged about it but last Thursday was me's great fwen Nathalie Ker Si Min's 19th birthdayy!

Before surprising her in the evening, WeeLim and I went to get some work done at Auntie Anne's. Did you know there's free WiFi around One Utama everywhere? So convenient!

And instead of spending double the amount of cash at a hot, less brightly lit and not so comfy Starbucks with tiny tables, we did work at the newly renovated Auntie Anne's. Pretty open but there were VERY little people around.

I was merajuking at that time. Lol.

After that we went back to his place and played around with our cameras while his mum was teaching. He started it!

Where did that come from? Hahaha. Okay moving on..

Then finally around 5 something we went to Nat's house. She was supposed to get a cake as well but the guys couldn't make it in time after failing the first time. Lol. Even when there was Eigen who's taking culinary arts! But apparently it's not his fault. I wasn't there so I don't know.

That's the present Wee and I shared to get. It's in a lasagna box. Unique.. Lol.

New Moon updates

Just watched E! and apparantly the guy who acted as Jacob in Twilight might not get to act as Jacob in New Moon. Awww..

I know loaaadss people thought he was cute/hot.

Meh. He's alright.

Speaking of Twilight, I was pretty disappointed. Film quality just seemed bad. It was like those indie movies with weird lighting and background music.

In terms of acting, Kirsten acted Bella really well. So did the entire Cullen family. All except Edward Cullen. Robert Pattinson was sadly very stiff. Yeah, he's supposed to be like that since he's a vampire but it was totally unnatural. His expressions were too acted out. He was trying too hard. I suppose he was just trying to get the part right. The Cullen family on the other hand were great eventhough they had such few lines. They made an impression.

Oh! E! News here is slower compared to the US. So he can play Jacob again. He just has to buff up. Already gained 19 pounds so far. Not bad.

Hopefully New Moon would be less disappointing.

He finally got to cut his hair. Good for him.

Thousand apologies for the lack of updates! It's cause there really isn't much to update about.

Lets see, since the last post,

I'm still pretty crazy about Tokio Hotel. Wow, yea I know. But I haven't started a fansite or any of that sort, yet. So I'm still sane.

I have quite a number of things to update on.. But I'm such a lazy bum. And lately I've been absolutely hooked on Tokio Hotel. So didn't have the mood to blog.

I have no idea why. They're so not my type.. But as soon as I heard Monsoon on Jimmy Kimmel Live, something clicked. So yea, now am a huge fan of Tokio Hotel. Probably one of my band phases.. They're really addictivee.. I listen to their songs an unhealthy number of times a day. Lol.

They're from Germany! And their songs are originally in German but they recently released a translated English album in the USA.

Lead vocalist, Bill Kaulitz(crazy hair dude) and guitarist, Tom Kaulitz(crazy pierced lip dude) are identical twins! (without the make-up on they DO look identical. Haha) And I dunno.. There's something about them that makes them nice to look at. Hahah.

They're unique individuals with their own sense of style. Probably why I like them so much. That and I really love their songs! Addictive. =D

Was doing some grocery shopping alone just the other day. When I saw this guy trying to find milk. He asked some lady who works there.

So I helped the guy, by telling the lady that he's looking for susu. He thanked me and I walked away.

I continued shopping around, feeling good bout myself for helping someone out. It's too bad it didn't last long.

10 minutes later I saw him walking around. Then I saw him again. And again. And AGAIN. I didn't realise it that that time, he was freaking following me!

He started talking to me.. I should have ignored him or pretended that I didn't understand him!! He spoke in Mandarin, see. I guess I was trying to test out my Mandarin. To see whether people actually understand me. Hahaha. Well apparently they do.

So anyways, I tried walking away and he still kept following me. Urghh! Can't he take a hint? After a million times of "No, I do NOT want to give you my number!" (in chinese) he finally went away. But only after he gave me his name card. Told me to call him to go out 'yam cha'. Seriously dude, as if I'll EVER.-.-

It's no wonder he's so obnoxiously forward! He's in insurance. Sales I bet.

From now on, I will mind my own business and not help others! Unless it's a life or death situation. Or if the person is female. Lol.

My Kakak Yati went back to Indonesia for one whole month to celebrate Raya with her family!

Which is why my already limited time to blog has to been reduced to almost zilch. Trying to squeeze in what little time I have (eg. skipping toilet breaks, etc.) to blog. Lol.

Not having Kakak Yati around makes such a huge difference.! The floor is now so sticky I have to wear indoor slippers. No, mine aren't the bunny ones. Though I wouldn't mind getting one.. They're cute. Haha! And there are so many more annoying mosquitoes and cockroaches around. It's tiring to clean up the house. Especially when you're the only person who minds the horrid condition of the place.

Anyway off to get some well deserved rest now. Will update when I have the time.

The last time I went to Cameron Highlands was what.? Four years ago?

I always thought it was insanely boring there. Zero entertainment. Unless you count strawberry & tea leaves & cactus farms as entertainment. I guess I was young and didn't enjoy the peaceful side of the place.

Went back there two weekends ago. And it was great! Still, zero entertainment. But all the fresh, cheap and (some) organic fibres they sell was almost heaven for me. Though it's definitely the exact opposite for my carnivorous brother.

Naturally, I drove there. But sad to say, my brother was so scared that I was the one behind the wheel he ~~almost PIHP(peed in his pants)~~ couldn't sleep

Did I fail to mention that highway driving is wayyy fun?

Cause highway driving is. way. fun.

I've never ever worked a day in my life until a week ago. Though it was only a one day thing.. it still counts.

Was a one night data entry job at Ikea! From 9.30pm to 7am.

Some of the others weren't so lucky. They got the ~~sad~~ hard job of counting stocks. Eg. plates, vases, candles, etc. Hahah.

I was stationed at the Kitchens area. The area where they sell kitchen supplies. Not the kitchen itself.

I checked the computer thoroughly. No entertainment whatsoever. =(

Worked my butt off the entire night til I had gastric! Who knew people get so hungry in the middle of the night. They did feed us. Pretty good food too. I just didn't finish it. And two hours later I was starving.

After I did all my work, my supervisor let me sleep on the Ikea beds! I actually got paid for sleeping. Hahaha.

Met up with everyone else after work. And we saw the sun rise.! Sorta.

It's school holidays as well as HELP A-levels holidays now.

But I have extra classes. And can't enjoy my holidays properly. *sigh*

After this three week holiday, I won't be having any more breaks. It's study study study non-stop until January exams. Where I can't even celebrate New Years Day and Chinese New Year cause I'll have papers on both days.

Beijing Olympics Badminton finals yesterday night.

Yea Malaysia lost our only chance at a gold.
But at least we got a Silver medal!

Yea, Chong Wei ~~got trashed by~~ lost pretty badly to Lin Dan.
But Lin Dan played exceptionally well. And Chong Wei did his best!

Besides, the Chinese people (from China) are crazy! The way they support their own kind. Cheered, clapped, screamed and waved their flags like mad men for Chen Jing and Lin Dan during the award ceremony.

When it was Chong Wei, silence. Couldn't they at least clap? Chong Wei looked so sad like he was gonna cry! Lol.

Anyway I think he did a good job. I've heard a whole lotta complaints from many and they're way too harsh.

Chong Wei must already be hurting bad inside. He looked so disappointed! So shush already with all the complaining.

Congrats to Lee Chong Wei for winning the Silver medal and RM 300,000.

He can use the money to buy himself lotsa food. He seriously needs to eat more! Lol.
